MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Assembly has finished its work for the two-year legislative session, pushing a host of bills to the Senate for final passage. The Senate is set to return for at least one more day in March. Senate Republican leaders will have to decide whether to take final votes on bills that would revoke drunken drivers’ licenses for a decade; help students afford college; ban so-called sanctuary cities for people living in the country illegally; help people cope with dementia. Neither house has taken votes on bills that would prohibit research using fetal tissue, require students to use bathrooms assigned to their biological sex and allow guns on school grounds. A spokeswoman for Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald didn’t immediately respond to an email message.
