2-20 strong winds knock down trees and power lines in fdl county

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says strong winds broke tree branches and downed power lines in the county Friday afternoon.  Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says a tree branch snapped a power line near Dundee and pushed a snowmobile trailer across the road on Elmore Drive.  Power lines were also reported down near Mt. Calvary on Highways G and WH.  In the city of Fond du lac a fallen tree knocked down power lines at a residence on 5th Street.  No injuries were reported.  Wind gusts of 45-50 miles an hour were reported.
