(AP) — The families of 10 Wisconsin Army Reserve members are saying their good-byes this weekend as the soldiers prepare for a Valentine's Day deployment.  The soldiers from the Appleton-based 395th Ordnance Company are shipping out early Sunday. 2-14-16 low voter turnout projected for tuesday’s primary

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's Government Accountability Board is predicting about 10 percent of eligible voters will go to the polls Tuesday for the spring primary election. The February 16th primary election includes the three-way Wisconsin Supreme Court race between Court of Appeals Judge Joanne Kloppenburg, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Joe Donald and recently appointed state Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley.

Scott Walker has signed Republican-backed legislation to overhaul Wisconsin's civil service system.  The governor signed the measure Friday.  The bill makes sweeping changes to civil service protections, which are designed to keep officials from handing out government jobs as rewards to their political allies.
