2-2-16 plane clips semi on wi interstate

UNION GROVE, Wis. (AP) — Police say no one was hurt when a plane clipped a semi-truck while approaching an airport in southeast Wisconsin. The plane was descending toward the Sylvania Airport on Monday evening when its landing gear apparently struck the semi on Interstate 94.  The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.

The Fond du Lac County Board of Health will revisit a proposal to ask the state to fund a study on the impact of wind turbines on human health.  In 2013 the Fond du Lac County Board approved a resolution supporting a statewide study.   Funds were inserted in the state budget for a study, but later removed by the Jt. The latest Marquette University Law School poll shows Donald Trump still on top among Republican presidential candidates and  Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in a virtual tie in Wisconsin.  Trump received 24-percent in the January poll, ahead of Marco Rubio at 18 percent and Ted Cruz at 16-percent.  Poll director Charles Franklin says those numbers could change before Wiconsin voters cast ballots in April because voting in earlier staes will affect the race.  The poll […]

A system financial report released Monday shows the system finished the year that ended June 30 with $6.68 billion in net worth. Almost $4.4 billion of that is tied up in buildings and equipment.
