The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says four people injured in a rollover crash on Highway 45 were not wearing seatbelts. The crash happened at about 9:30 Tuesday night on 45 near the Fond du lac-Winnebago County line. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain, Rick Olig says four occupants, all from Oshkosh were transported to the hospital. A six week old infant who was in a car seat was not injured. Olig says a 53 year old woman was pinned under the vehicle, but was alert and talking with paramedics at the scene. She was transported to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
