3-29-16 former wi governor thompson goes “between the lines” on behalf of ohio governor kasich

Former Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson says Ohio governor John Kasich is the only Republican candidate who has a chance of beating the Democratic nominee in the November election.  Thompson made the comments in an exclusive interview on AM 1170’s Between the Lines program.  “He’s a friend of mine, he’s a very effective governor and was a tremendously effective congressman,”  Thompson said.  “When you look at people with past experience at getting things done, John Kasich exemplifies that.”   Thompson says while Kasich won’t have enough delegates to earn the nomination at the convention, he doesn’t believe the other candidates will either…setting the stage for a contested convention.
