3-22-16 sentencing hearing scheduled for fdl woman convicted of killing her husband

3-22-16 fdl man sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting a child

A Fond du Lac man convicted of sexually assaulting a 12 year old girl is going to prison.  Fond du Lac judge Peter Grimm sentenced Dennis Nickel Jr.  to three years in prison and three years extended supervision.  The judge also ordered two years probation.  Nickel earlier  pleaded no contest to causing mental harm to a child and 4th degree sexual assault.  The 43 year old Nickel was originally charged with two counts of  sexual assault […]

Two Fond du Lac County students are among  46 private school winners through the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation.   The  Foundation has announced the winners  of $192,000 in Principal, Teacher, and Student awards to WCRIS schools.   St. Mary’s Springs student Luke Holzmann and Waupun Central Wisconsin Christian High School student Serena Pritchard are two of 14 Student Excellence award  winners.  The winners each receive $3000 for their schools.  For the first time this year, four principals […]
