3-14-16 milwaukee woman charged in fdl county heroin overdose death

A  Milwaukee woman has been charged in connection with a heroin overdose death in Fond du Lac County.  Twenty three year old Angelique Kannenberg made her initial Fond du Lac Court appearance Friday on a charge of  first degree reckless homicide.    Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss ordered $100,000 cash bond.  A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18th.   Kannenberg is accused of supplying the heroin that led to the death of Joshua Wille at a […]

A Berlin man will serve more time in prison for a crime spree through Green Lake, Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties which included stealing multiple vehicles and car chases with authorities. 3-14-16 berlin woman charged with stealing from school district

A Berlin woman faces embezzlement charges after being accused of stealing more than $30,000 from the Berlin Area School District. Berlin Police Chief Kevin Block says the investigation began in the summer of 2015 after auditors for the school district found money missing from some accounts at Clay Lamberton Elementary School in Berlin. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Former baseball player Pete Rose's bobblehead is being inducted into Milwaukee's National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.  The organization said Friday that Rose's bobblehead will be its first inductee. 3-11-16 dodge county circuit judge orders violent sex offender placed in reeseville residence

A Dodge County Circuit judge has ordered a convicted violent sex offender to be placed in a Reeseville residence despite objections from law enforcement.  At a review hearing Thursday Judge Joseph Sciascia ordered that Robert Larson Jr. be placed at the residence on Neueberger Road.   Sheriff Dale Schmidt says his concern is that 14 children live in homes within 1500 to 2000 feet of the residence and eight additional children visit the homes regularly. 3-11-16 fdl bicycle loop

Construction is expected to begin this summer on connecting a citywide bicycle loop through Lakeside Park.    Fond du Lac Public Works director Jordan Skiff says two major segments are expected to be completed this summer.  Skiff says construction will start at the existing bike trail near Harborview Drive and Doty Street, extending north into the park.  Skiff says the second leg will go along the Lake Winnebago shoreline to the lighthouse.
