(AP) — The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents has adopted policy changes that will weaken tenure protections.  The Republican-authored state budget stripped tenure protections from state law. MILWAUKEE (AP) — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has sent additional investigators to Wisconsin to find the source of a blood infection officials describe as the largest outbreak of the bacteria now linked to 15 deaths and 26 illnesses.  Infectious disease specialists expected additional cases of the infection to be found because health care providers and laboratories have been alerted to look for the bacterium, called Elizabethkingia. 3-10-16 wisconsin continues to lag nation in new jobs

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new report shows Wisconsin lagging behind the national average in job creation.  The data out Wednesday from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows Wisconsin added more than 29,000 private-sector jobs in the period from September 2014 to September 2015.   That was a 1.2 percent increase, good for only 36th out of 50 states.
