4-5-16 uncontested races for fdl city council and school board

There are uncontested races for Fond du Lac school board and city council in Tuesday’s spring election.  Incumbents LeeAnn Lorrigan and Karen Merkel are running for re-election to the Fond du lac city council along with newcomers Kay Miller and Derek Terbeest.  Incumbent Gary Miller is not able to run because of term limits and Brian Foster stepped down last fall.  For Fond du Lac school board, incumbents Elizabeth Hayes and Mark Jurgella and former Fond du lac Reporter editor Peggy Breister are running for three seats.  Incumbent Kathy Nagle is not running for re-election.  There are six contested races for Fond du Lac county board and a handful of contested races for town and village offices.  In the village of North Fond du Lac, Keith King, John Duffy and Martin Schroeder are running for two seats on the village board.  There are five candidates running for three seats on the Oakfield village board.   A write-in candidate may be elected to the Mt. Calvary village board where only two candidates are running for three seats.  There is also a race for Taycheeda town board supervisor where four candidates are running for two seats. In Ripon Annette Klein and Aaron Becker are running for a seat on the city council.  John Stommel and Mike Weiss are running for a seat on the Campbellsport school board.
