A Ripon College political science professor says Hilary Clinton can not underestimate Donald Trump if she expects to win in November. Professor Marty Farrell made the comments after Trump’s victory this week in Indiana and the decision by Ted Cruz and John Kasich to drop out of the race. Farrell says Trump would be the first presidential nominee without government or military experience. “That would be unprecedented,” Farrell told WFDL news. “…part of the fact, people are voting for him because he doesn’t have experience.”

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
