A Fond du lac man convicted last week in an armed robbery is going to prison. At a sentencing hearing Tuesday afternoon Fond du lac Judge Peter Grimm sentenced Ronald Loving to 15 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision. The judge also ordered six years probation. Loving was convicted in connection with the robbery of the Highway 151 Mobile gas station last summer. Assistant DA, Dennis Krueger, says the sentence is appropriate. “It was a very serious offense involving a firearm that could have been lethal,” Krueger told WFDL news following the hearing. “We think the judge imposed an appropriate sentence to protect the community.” Two others charged in the robbery, Shawn Eubanks and Barbara Abernathy are still making their way through the court system.
