MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Gov. Scott Walker is calling for a number of changes in Wisconsin's plan to combat chronic wasting disease but they don't include widespread killing of deer.  Walker's office announced Friday that he wants studies on deer population dynamics and CWD's effects on deer as well as quicker test results. 5-16-16 elections commission-new chief

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's new elections commission has appointed a new administrator to supervise state elections.  The commission approved hiring Michael Haas as its administrator. Haas currently works as the state Government Accountability Board's Elections Division administrator. He now becomes Wisconsin's top elections official.  Gov. Scott Walker signed a law last year eliminating the GAB on June 29 and replacing it with an elections commission and an ethics commission. […]
