A Plymouth teenager was killed in a one vehicle crash in Sheboygan County this week. Authorities blame black ice for the crash Tuesday morning on County Highway U in the Town of Lyndon on Tuesday morning that claimed the life of 16 year old Jodeen Hinz. She was the driver of a pickup truck that on her way to Plymouth High School. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says Hinz lost control of the vehicle, which left the road and struck some trees. A passenger was not injured.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
