It’s the first and best wedding show of the year. The 2017 Edith’s Bridal Faire is Thursday night at the Fond du Lac Holiday Inn. Tom Diette with Edith’s Bridal and Tuxedos says the doors open at 4pm and the show starts at 7pm. “We have over 50 wedding vendors, Diette told WFDL news. “Anything you want to know about planning a wedding whether its photography, flowers, cake decorating, any venue you’re interested in, we’ve got it for you.” One lucky couple will win a free wedding valued at $15,000.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
