Law enforcement say gas station robberies in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh Police appear to be related and are asking the public for help. Police say the 21 Shell gas station near Highways 21 and 41 in Oshkosh was robbed on November 7th. The Speedway Super America gas station on West Johnson Street in Fond du Lac was robbed at knifepoint on December 15th Nobody was injured in either incident. The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, approximately 5’10” – 6’1” and about 25 years old. Police say he was wearing a hooded black and grey-white jacket with a black vertical zipper along one side of the chest. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
