todayJanuary 24, 2017

North Fond du Lac School District residents will decide two building referendum questions in April totaling nearly $30 million.   The village school board has approved placing the referendum questions on the April ballot.  Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says the first question asks voters to spend up to $27 million for partial demolition and renovations at the Early Learning Center, and an addition to include classrooms, a gym and renovations at Friendship Learning Center.  The second $2.5 million question is for deferred maintenance projects at Bessie Allen Middle School and Horace Mann High School.  Sadoff the Early Learning Center is in need of upgrades to an aging infrastructure.  He says the project at Friendship Learning Center would address overcrowding, safety, security and accessibility.
