1-17-17 vehicles go through thin ice on two dodge county lakes

1-16-17 barn fire

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a barn in Fond du Lac County.  Shortly before 7pm Sunday firefighters were called to the Imelda Cabral farm on Highway HH in the town of  Calumet.  The barn was used for storing hay, wood and also housed one horse which was not injured.   The barn is considered a complete loss.  No personnel were injured at the scene.  The official cause […]

Schools throughout Fond du Lac and Dodge counties cancelled classes or closed early today with a dangerous ice storm in the forecast.   National Weather Service meteorologist Ben Herzog says the forcast calls for a mixture of sleet and freezing rain.  By 3pm Monday the temperature was still above freezing and there were no reports of weather related accidents.  Fond du lac County Highway commissioner Tom Janke says crews will be […]

1-16-17 snowmobile injury crash-dodge county
