1-16-17 walker pays off presidential campaign debt

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker has fully paid off the debt he accrued during his short-lived presidential run.  Walker owed $1.2 million when he dropped out of the race in 2015 after 71 days. 1-16-17 mercury marine paint plant expansion ribbon cutting

1-14-17 sturgeon spectacular

Several new events are on tap for the 2nd annual Sturgeon Spectacular in Fond du lac on Lake Winnebago.   The event is scheduled for February 10th through the 12th.   Some of the new events this year include a snow sculpting competition, public ice-skating and snowmobile/ ATV race.  Other events include the Sturgeon Stampede featuring ice-kiting and ice bowling, a bonfire on the ice and a fireworks show.

A Fond du Lac woman faces attempted homicide charges following a stabbing incident.  Assisstant police chief Steve Klein  says the domestic incident happened shortly after midnight Friday  in the 100 block of East Second Street.  Klein says a 45 year old Fond du lac man was treated at St. Agnes Hospital for stab wounds to his chest and shoulder.  Klein says the 36 year old woman stabbed the man with […]

1-13-17 five people arrested for high school threats in fdl and oshkosh

Five people have been arrested in unrelated school threats in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. Authorities say an 18-year-old man and two boys, ages 17 and 15, were arrested for threats that shut down Oshkosh's two public high schools Thursday.
