1-25-17 fdl woman splits badger 5 jackpot

A Fond du Lac woman and a Marshall man have split the $179,000 jackpot from the Badger 5 drawing on Saturday, January 14.  Both players matched the winning numbers of 2, 4, 14, 17 and 29.  Mary Arenz of Fond du Lac purchased her ticket at Speedway on West Johnson Street in Fond du Lac.  Benjamin Wipf of Marshall purchased his ticket in Madison.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Government entities would no longer have to publish meeting minutes in local newspapers under a bipartisan bill being circulated in the Wisconsin Legislature.  A bipartisan group of lawmakers announced Tuesday that they were circulating the measure for co-sponsors.
