2-17-17 oshkosh pub crawl lawsuit

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A state appeals court has ruled in the city of Oshkosh's favor in an on-going battle with the organizer of a pub crawl.    Joseph Kubiak declined to pay for an event permit for a pub crawl in 2014 after several years of doing so. 2-16-17 dodge county man indicted by federal grand jury on drug charges

A Juneau man is one of three men indicted by a federal grand jury on drug charges.   Forty six  year old Michael Marks was arrested Wednesday in Beaver Dam on a charge of possession and  of methamphetamine.  His cousin, 44 year old William Marks of Columbus and an Eau Claire woman are charged with distributing methamphetamine.   The charge carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.  The charges […]

2-16-17 mayville police chief under investigation

The Mayville police chief is under investigation.  Police chief Chris MacNeill has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.   Mayville mayor Rob Boelk says MacNeill was placed on leave this week after the city became aware of an allegation involving MacNeill that occurred in 2011.  Boelk did not say what the nature of the allegations are.  The  Watertown Police Department is conducting the investigation.    […]

2-16-17 nobody injured in berlin armed standoff

Nobody was injured and a Berlin man was arrested following a standoff with police.  Berlin police responded Monday evening to a report of a man barricading himself inside an apartment with a child. 2-16-17 increased patient volume pushes st. agnes hospital to bed capacity
