2-15-17 fdl car chase ends with car crashing into house

Fond du Lac police were involved in a short car chase in the city that ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed into a house.  The incident happened around  4pm Wednesday.  The car crashed into a house at 275 8th Street.   Nobody was seriously injured and one person is in custody.

Nobody was injured and a Berlin man was arrested following a standoff with police.  Berlin police responded Monday evening to a report of a man barricading himself inside an apartment with a child. 2-15-17 fdl county board approves economic incentive package for retlaw hotel renovation project

2-15-17 fdl county hires new emergency management director

Fond du Lac County has a new emergency management director.  The county board has approved the hiring of Bobbie Hicken as the Fond du Lac County Director of Communications and Emergency Managaement.  Hicken replaces Jim McNabb who retired in December.  Hicken has been serving in an interim role since then.
