CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin judge has rejected a plea deal that would've sent a woman to jail for six months for her ninth drunken-driving offense.  The decision means Lisa M. The Fond du Lac Animal Shelter manager says she wonders if a cat that died after being kicked may have been tortured.  Preston Buck told police he kicked the cat because it knocked over a lamp.  The cat was brought to the animal shelter where it was euthanized. LAKE GENEVA, Wis. A Super Bowl weekend tailgate party is being held in Fond du Lac Friday to promote 211.  Fond du Lac United Way director Amber Kilawee says dialing 211 connects you with quick and easy access to community-based health and human services information.  Kilawee says a tailgate party is being held from 11:30am to 1:30pm  Friday at Society Insurance on Camelot Drive.  The public is welcome.
