Eleven patients received mostly minor injuries after a school bus was rear ended by a semi truck near New London. Three children–ages 11-to-14–were transported to transported to the hospital and are listed in good condition. The children are New London School District students. Bail was set at $500 cash for a suicidal man arrested after firing a gun inside a Fond du lac home last week. Forty three year old Timothy Traver is charged with possession of a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. There were no serious injuries in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac this morning. The crash happened shortly before 6am at the intersection of Johnson Street and National Avenue. Ambulance personnel evaluated two people at the scene but nobody was transported to the hospital. Traffic was re routed until the scene was cleared.

BLOOMER, Wis. (AP) — Former state Rep. Tom Larson of Colfax has died, a year after he announced he would not seek re-election as he battled cancer. He was 69.
