MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Election Commission chairman blames Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign and undertrained poll workers for as many as 70 instances in which 17-year-olds illegally voted in Wisconsin’s presidential primary. Many states allow 17-year-olds to vote in primaries if they will be 18 by Election Day, but Wisconsin doesn’t. Commission officials blamed the confusion on social media, including posts from Sanders, though they didn’t see any misinformation from him about Wisconsin’s laws.
