Several Theisen Middle School sixth graders ordered and sold Clean Water for South Sudan bracelets ($1 each) after reading A Long Walk to Water in Ms. Knueppel’s Social Studies class. Students (L-R) Alyssa Makowski, Robert Meyers, and Jeremiah Williams, shown here with Officer Olson who raised $200 at one of his concerts, received valuable guidance from Miss Goodacre for this fundraising project. Through effective promotion at the school by the students and bracelet sales and donations at Officer Olson’s concert, over $300 was raised to support water projects in South Sudan.
