(AP) — A new report says corporations donated about $1.3 million to Wisconsin's Democratic and Republican parties and legislative fundraising committees last year.  The review by government watchdog group Wisconsin Democracy Campaign found corporations gave the state GOP $60,600 and the state Democratic Party $107,000. Alliant Energy crews were called to repair a gas main leak in Fond du Lac Wednesday afternoon.  Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue was called to the scene on Martin Avenue near 10th Street shortly after 2pm.   Most crews were back in service within about an hour.

(AP) — Police in northern Wisconsin say an officer and three other people were killed in what apparently began as a domestic dispute at a bank.   Everest Metro Police Chief Wally Sparks said the slain officer was from his department. A Waupun man is in custody following a high speed chase in Dodge County.  The chase started shortly after 11:30pm last night after Dodge County sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop on Highway 49 near Shamrock Road in the town of Chester.  The driver, 22 year old Matthew Ellcey, fled the traffic stop dragging a Sheriff’s Lieutenant for a short distance as he fled.   The Lieutenant sustained minor injuries […]
