The Fond du Lac city council has approved a master plan for Lakeside Park.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the plan, developed by Excel Engineering, includes a new pavilion to replace the existing pavilion, expanded concessions area and temporary summer pier north of Fisherman’s pier. The tax filing deadline is Tuesday and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue is reminding taxpayers to file their income tax returns by the deadline. Returns must be received or postmarked by midnight on Tuesday, April 18. The deadline is extended this year because April 15 is a Saturday and Monday, April 17 is a holiday in Washington, D.C. 4-17-17 suspects in theft from sadoff iron and metal bound over for trial

Three individuals accused of defrauding a Fond du Lac scrap metal company out of millions of dollars have been bound over for trial.  Preliminary hearings were held Friday for Sterling Kienbaum, Daniel Christianson and Donald Krueger on charges of racketeering and theft.  The three are accused of stealing $14 million from Sadoff Iron and Metal between 2009 and May of 2015.   Christianson and Krueger were convicted last year of theft […]
