The Fond du Lac city council has approved a master plan for Lakeside Park. Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the plan, developed by Excel Engineering, includes a new pavilion to replace the existing pavilion, expanded concessions area and temporary summer pier north of Fisherman’s pier. Three individuals accused of defrauding a Fond du Lac scrap metal company out of millions of dollars have been bound over for trial. Preliminary hearings were held Friday for Sterling Kienbaum, Daniel Christianson and Donald Krueger on charges of racketeering and theft.
