The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle crash this week. The Sheriff’s Office says 28 year old John Armentrout, from Juneau was killed in the crash at the intersection of state Highway 67 and Town Road MM Wednesday morning. The Sheriff’s Office says Armentrout was ejected from his vehicle when it was broadsided by a semi. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver, 51 year old Kimberly Jacobs , from Chilton received non life-threatening injuries.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
