5-19-17 dodge county fatal crash victim identified

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle crash this week.  The Sheriff’s Office says 28 year old John Armentrout, from Juneau was killed in the crash at the intersection of state Highway 67 and Town Road MM Wednesday morning.  The Sheriff’s Office says Armentrout was ejected from his vehicle when it was broadsided by a semi.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has created a committee to pave the way for driverless cars to operate in Wisconsin.  Walker issued an executive order Thursday creating an aptly named Steering Committee on Autonomous and Connected Vehicle Testing and Deployment. 5-19-17 wi unemployment rate drops

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin's unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in more than 17 years. The state Department of Workforce Development reported Thursday that the unemployment rate in April was 3.2 percent. The seasonally adjusted figure is down from 3.4 percent in March and the lowest since February 2000. ELK CITY, Okla. (AP) — The National Weather Service says its preliminary damage rating for a tornado that destroyed a trailer park and killed a man in northwestern Wisconsin is a strong EF2.  The enhanced F-scale runs from EF0 to EF5.
