Nobody was injured when a pole smashed the windshield of a car at a Fond du Lac car wash. Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue was called to the Buggy Bath car wash on West Scott Street today for a reported pole through a windshield of a car. Upon arrival the person was out of the vehicle. Part of the car wash spraying mechanism had come in contact with the front windshield, shattering it. The pole did not break though the windshield as originally reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the car wash owner was contacted and responded to the scene and is working on making necessary repairs.
