6-5-17 inmate escapes from winnebago correctional

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in eastern Wisconsin are searching for a 29-year-old inmate who escaped from prison.  Oshkosh police say Dennis Tharp was reported missing by staff at the Winnebago Correctional Center around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. 6-5-17 fdl boy injured in car vs. bike accident

A car vs. bike accident in downtown Fond du Lac sent a nine-year-old boy to the hospital with serious injuries.  The accident happened Friday afternoon near the intersection of Main and Eighth streets.  The boy was transported to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah for a broken wrist and leg injuries.

6-5-17 fdl high school participating in new information technology pilot program at uw-oshkosh

6-3-17 fdl solutions center donation

The group Young Professionals of Fond du Lac  has presented a  two thousand dollar donation to the Solutions Center of Fond du Lac.   The money was raised during a recent charity kickball tournament held during the state-wide Young Professionals week. Solutions Center serves those affected by domestic abuse and homelessness.
