MADISON, Wis. 6-3-17 victims of plant explosion identified

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — An executive of the corn mill plant leveled in an explosion and fire this week in southern Wisconsin has identified the three workers killed in the blast.  Didion Milling Plant operations vice president Derrick Clark said Friday that mill operator Duelle Block, fork lift operator Robert Goodenow and packing machine operator Pawel Tordoff died in the explosion and fire late Wednesday. 6-3-17 new uw fdl athletic director named

The UW Fond du Lac has a new athletic director.  Regional executive officer and dean Martin Rudd says Jeremiah Hoffman has been hired for the post.  Hoffman will be responsible for directing campus athletic programs and will also be the new head coach for the men’s basketball team.  Hoffman is currently t he head golf professional at Rolling Meadows Golf Course and head golf coach at UW Fond du Lac.

6-3-17 supercash winner in fdl

One lucky Supercash player in Fond du Lac matched all six numbers in the May 29th  drawing to win the $350,000 top prize.    The winning ticket was purchased at Hansen's BP at 414 West Johnson Street in Fond du Lac.   That night's winning Supercash numbers were 2, 3, 10, 12,  20 and 39.  The winner has not yet stepped forward.
