Seventh Street from South Main Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 10th to July 14th: The utility contractor will continue installing storm sewer laterals on Seventh Street from Marr Street toward S. Park Avenue.  The final storm structures and connecting to the storm main at Main Street will be completed as well.  This will complete the utilities on Seventh Street before weeks end.  The grading contractor will start the grading work the week of July 17th.
Traffic Impacts:  Seventh Street will be closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
North Military Road from West Follett Street to West Scott Street
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 10th to July 14th: No work this week.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road remains open to traffic.
Fifth Street from South Marr Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 10th to July 14th:  Work will begin on Monday, July 10th with the sanitary manhole in the intersection of Marr and 5th Street and then crews continue working east.  A second crew will start on water main likely from S. Park Street to the west on 5th Street.  Crews for AT&T are scheduled to move the underground telephone to the north edge of the terrace between Ellis Street and S. Park Avenue, north side.  Note, sanitary bypass work will begin on July 10th which consists of pumping down Marr Street from Sixth to Fourth Street.  Driveway access will only be allowed ONLY from the side of the road the driveway is located.  The intersection of Fifth and Marr will be closed when this work is taking place.  In addition, there will be lane restrictions on Sixth Street east and west bound as the bypass pump will be in the center of the road.
Traffic Impacts:  The intersection of Fifth and Marr will be closed July 10th and 11th for sanitary manhole replacement.  Other restrictions on Marr and Sixth Street are addressed above.

Ellis Street from Fourth Street to Eight Street (North Leg)
Schedule:  May 2017 to September 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
July 10th to July 14th:  The remaining storm and water laterals on Ellis Street, between Eighth and Sixth Streets, will be completed at the start of the week.  Crews will be moving to Fifth Street and then completing the work on Ellis as work progresses along Fifth Street.
Traffic Impacts: Ellis Street will be closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs.  Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
Brooke Street Bridge Closure
Description: The bridge deck will be milled and overlaid which requires the closure of the bridge to vehicle travel.
July 10th to July 14th:  The contractor has completed the work and has moved equipment off site.  Pavement marking work could be completed in the next few weeks but currently the bridge is open to traffic.
Traffic Impacts:  The Brooke Street Bridge between West Rees Street and West Division Street is OPEN to traffic with no restrictions.
West Second Street Bridge
Description: The bridge deck will be milled and overlaid which requires the closure of the bridge to vehicle and pedestrian travel.
July 10th to July 14th:  The West Second Street Bridge railings should be completed and installed at the start of this week.  Once the final touches are made on the railing the sidewalk will be opened to pedestrian traffic for a few weeks until the epoxy overlay work will begin.  The bridge deck will need a minimum of 14 days before the epoxy work can begin.  Until the epoxy work is completed and the bridge approaches are poured the bridge will be closed to traffic.
Traffic Impacts: The West Second Street Bridge remains closed to through traffic but pedestrian travel will be allowed to cross the bridge on the sidewalks beginning this week.
CTH VV (PIONEER RD) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road
Schedule: April 2017 thru November 2017
Description: This project will include the reconstruction of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road.  The signalized intersection at Pioneer Road and Military Road will be converted to a roundabout.  Work will include grading, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, base aggregate, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk, traffic signals, signing, pavement marking, lighting and landscaping.
July 10th to July 14th: The contractor will continue placing storm sewer along CTH VV (Pioneer Road) between Military Road and Hickory Street.  Crews will also continue to place topsoil and landscaping may be started.  Concrete sidewalk may be placed along the southbound lanes of Military Road.  Underground lighting work will also be done at the intersection of CTH VV and Military Road and also along CTH VV (Pioneer Road)
Traffic impacts: CTH VV (Pioneer Road from Hickory Street to Triangle Road and Military Road from the IH 41 off ramps to CTH VV (Pioneer Road) will be closed to thru traffic.
