7-10-17 fdl intersection closure and lane restrictions

The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public of an intersection closure and traffic lane closures beginning Monday, July 10^th.  The intersection of 5th Street and Marr Street will be closed completely to replace the sanitary manhole in the intersection. In addition, the westbound traffic on 5th Street at Marr Street will be closed and the eastbound lane on 5th Street at Marr Street (one way) will be restricted to one lane onto Marr Street.  Eastbound and westbound lanes on 6^th Street will be restricted as the bypass pump will be positioned in the center of the intersection.  The closures are expected to last two days and are weather dependent due to the nature of the manhole replacement.
