A convicted Fond du lac sex offender is being released from prison. Fond du Lac Police say Robert Carter is being released from prison after serving 15 years for Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Third Degree Sexual Assault. Carter was convicted of sexually assaulting 14-year-old and 12-year-old female acquaintances. Carter will be living at 143 W.
