The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal industrial accident at Michels Corporation in Brownsville. The sheriff’s office says 20 year old Treston Isham of Fond du Lac was pronounced dead at the scene last Thursday afternoon. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says Isham was an employee of All Tools LLC of Fond du Lac and was cleaning pipes when a pipe fell off a jack sliding into Isham. OSHA is investigating the incident.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
