The 50th Fond du Lac County Fairest of the Fair has been crowned. More than 20 past Fairest of the Fair winners were in the audience as judges named Kati Kindschuh of Brownsville the 50th Fond du Lac County Fairest of the Fair. Rachel Bock of Malone was named first runner-up and Diane Meister of Campbellsport was second runner-up. Kindschuh is the 21 year old daughter David and Dianne Kindschuh of Brownsville. She is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She has served as a Wisconsin State FFA Officer, the Wisconsin Holstein Princess and is a past 4-H and Lomira FFA member. Kindschuh is currently employed at her family farm, Sterling Stock Farms and as a freelance journalist for the Wisconsin State Farmer magazine. Kindschuh will represent the Fond du Lac County Fair for the next year and will represent the county in the Wisconsin State Fairest of the Fair competition in January.
