EAA Under Way

todayJuly 25, 2017

An aviation tradition is underway in Oshkosh. E-A-A’s AirVenture is in its 65th year in Oshkosh, and spokesman Dick Knapinski says there’s plenty to see through Sunday, including numerous air shows, the Blue Angels and more than 300 warbirds – including two B-29 Bombers. Eight of the 15 living Apollo astronauts will also being doing a reunion next weekend on July 28th. Knapinski says it’s been about a half century since that program started and the astronauts will discuss their experiences and what they think space will be like in the future. Nearly a half a million people are expected to attend the show this year.
