Oshkosh Police are investigating a report of shots fired on the city’s east side.
Officers were called to a disturbance Sunday night in the 500 block of Boyd Street. As they were driving to the scene, the officers received reports of shots fired in the area.
The Oshkosh Police Department says witnesses described the alleged shooter as a heavyset black male with short, dark hair. He’s about 5’6″ tall.
The man was last seen running from the scene of the disturbance.
No one was hurt. Police received no reports of damage.
Police were called to the area at 8:39 p.m.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
