A Waupun man is heading to jail after leading police on a high speed chase late last year.
24-year-old Dustin Duket was sentenced to 4 years in prison and 12 years of extended supervision in Fond du Lac County Court this week.
According to the criminal complaint, Duket led Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed chase last November, ending when a Deputy used his squad car to force Duket off the road.
He plead “no contest” to four felony charges in May of this year.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
