7-13-17 new fdl lakeshore elementary school principal

Lakeshore Elementary School  in Fond du Lac has a new principal.  The Fond du Lac school board has approved hiring Special Education Instructional coach, Kelly Barkovich-Smith to the post. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says Barkovich-Smith replaces Matthew Steinbarth who has been hired as the new high school principal.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic attorney general hopeful Josh Kaul has raised more than $170,000. Kaul announced in April he would challenge Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel. 7-13-17 oshkosh teen arrested following high speed chase in fdl county

An Oshkosh teenager received minor injuries following a high speed chase involving a stolen vehicle Fond du Lac County.   The chase started Tuesday night after a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle on Highway 26 near the Fond du Lac-Winnebago County line.  The suspect vehicle failed to stop and the chase continued south on Highway 26.  Stop sticks were placed on the road […]

The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes is exploring the sale of Agnesian Healthcare to SSM Health.  The CSA and SSM Health have signed a letter of intent to sell Agnesian and Monroe Clinic to SSM Health.  SSM Health is based in St. Louis with health care facilities in 18 south-central Wisconsin counties.    According to a press release the decision to pursue a sponsorship transfer was initiated by CSA.  […]

7-12-17 transient worker on trial for attacking waupun woman
