7-10-17 nine year old fdl boy injured in dirt bike accident

A nine year old Fond du Lac boy was seriously injured after crashing his dirt bike at the Fond du Lac ATV park over the weekend.   He was flown by Flight for Life  helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.  Rescue personnel say the boy was wearing a helmet.

7-8-17 milwaukee woman going to prison in fdl heroin overdose case

A Milwaukee woman convicted in the heroin overdose death of a Fond du lac woman is going to prison. At a hearing Friday Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss sentenced 55 year old Andrea Griffin to eight years in prison followed by ten years of extended supervision.  Griffin was convicted  of first degree reckless homicide and manufacture-delivery of  heroin.    Investigators say Griffin supplied the heroin that led to the death […]

7-7-17 lightning strike causes attic fire in beaver dam

Nobody was injured in a house fire in Beaver Dam apparently started  by a lightning strike.  Firefighters were called to the Michael Roberts home on Park Avenue at about 11pm Thursday.  Dispatch stated that the family had already evacuated the home and were outside. 7-7-17 chain reaction three vehicle crash sends three people to hospital

Inattentive driving and following too close appear to be factors in a chain reaction crash on highway 23 east of Fond du Lac that sent three people to the hospital.   The crash happened shortly after 4:30pm Thursday on Highway 23 west of County Highway W in the town of Forest.   According to a Sheriff's Office press release an investigation showed all three vehicles were eastbound on STH 23. 7-7-17 pipe cleaning fatality
