A nine year old Fond du Lac boy was seriously injured after crashing his dirt bike at the Fond du Lac ATV park over the weekend. He was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Rescue personnel say the boy was wearing a helmet.

A Milwaukee woman convicted in the heroin overdose death of a Fond du lac woman is going to prison. At a hearing Friday Fond du Lac judge Richard Nuss sentenced 55 year old Andrea Griffin to eight years in prison followed by ten years of extended supervision. Inattentive driving and following too close appear to be factors in a chain reaction crash on highway 23 east of Fond du Lac that sent three people to the hospital.
