Two Madison men received non life-threatening injuries following a shooting incident at a Dodge County strip club. Shortly after 2am Wednesday sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fired at TNT Gentlemen’s Club on County Highway R. The Sheriff’s Office says two men, ages 27 and 23 were victims of the shooting. They were transported to UW Hospital for treatment. Sheriff Dale Schmidt says there are no suspects in custody. However Schmidt says the area is safe for the community and says his office will be increasing patrols in the area. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
