Seventh Street from South Main Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule:  May 2017 to November 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
August 7^th to August 11^th:  The roadway excavating and placing aggregate base is completed.   The electrical contractor is installing electrical conduit for street lighting between Marr and Main Street.  The paving contractor is scheduled to start placing curb and gutter, driveway aprons and sidewalks before weeks end.
Traffic Impacts:  Seventh Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
North Military Road from West Follett Street to West Scott Street
Schedule:  May 2017 to November 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
August 7^th to August 11^th:  The utility contractor will continue to install sanitary sewer main from Sibley Street to the south.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
Fifth Street from South Marr Street to South Park Avenue

Ellis Street from Fourth Street to Eight Street (North Leg)
Schedule:  May 2017 to November 2017
Description:  The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
August 7^th to August 11^th:  The utility contractor has completed the sanitary sewer, water main and laterals on Ellis Street from Fourth Street to Sixth Street and will continue installing storm sewer.   The paving contractor is scheduled to start placing curb and gutter, driveway aprons and sidewalks from Sixth Street to Eighth Street.
Traffic Impacts: Ellis Street is closed to through traffic.  It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs.  Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
West Second Street Bridge
Description: The bridge deck will be milled and overlaid which requires the closure of the bridge to vehicle and pedestrian travel.
August 7^th to August 11^th:  The contractor has completed placing the epoxy overlay and will be preparing the approaches for paving this week.   Pedestrian access is now open and weather pending the approaches will be paved and the bridge should be opened to vehicle traffic as well before the end of the week.
Traffic Impacts: The West Second Street Bridge remains closed to traffic and pedestrians.
CTH VV (PIONEER RD) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road
Schedule: April 2017 thru November 2017
Description: This project will include the reconstruction of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road.  The signalized intersection at Pioneer Road and Military Road will be converted to a roundabout.  Work will include grading, water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, base aggregate, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk, traffic signals, signing, pavement marking, lighting and landscaping.
August 7^th to August 11^th: The contractor is scheduled to place concrete pavement and curb and gutter for turn lanes and bike lanes on the outside of the eastbound lanes of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) between Military Road and Hickory Street.  Grading work will continue on Military Road between CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and Oak Park Avenue.  Watermain and storm sewer installation will continue on Military Road between CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and the north project limits.  Sanitary sewer work is scheduled to start on Military Road as well. Landscaping work may also be done on CTH VV (Pioneer Road) west of Military Road.
Traffic impacts: CTH VV (Pioneer Road from Hickory Street to Triangle Road and Military Road from the IH 41 off ramps to CTH VV (Pioneer Road) will be closed to thru traffic.  CTH VV (Pioneer Road) will have a signed detour via STH 23 (Johnson Street) to IH 41 to Hickory Street.  There will also be a signed detour for Military Road via IH 41 to Hickory Street.  Detour signage will be installed along IH 41 directing northbound Military Road traffic to the Hickory Street interchange, at which point traffic will follow the signed detour along Hickory Street.  Access through the construction site to Sullivan Drive and Rogersville Road may be limited at times.  Access to businesses will be maintained.  Military Road has one lane in each direction south of CTH VV (Pioneer Road). CTH VV (Pioneer Road) east of Military Road is reduced to one lane in each direction. Drivers should be aware of changing conditions and traffic patterns at the intersection of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and Military Road.  Military Road is closed between CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and South Seymour Street. The closure for Military Road is tentatively scheduled to be complete in early October.
