WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) — A West Allis police officer received minor injuries when a pickup collided with the officer’s squad car.
The marked squad car was on routine patrol and was not traveling with its lights or sirens activated when the crash happened Saturday night.
The truck rolled onto its roof and onto the sidewalk.
A pedestrian was hurt.
Authorities say the pickup driver ran away but was found by police a few blocks away.
The truck driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated and hit and run.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
