Mayville’s former police chief is due back in Dodge County Court tomorrow.
Christopher MacNeill is facing one felony count of misconduct in office and a misdemeanor count of obstructing an officer.
He is currently out on a $1,000 signature bond. MacNeill is set to enter a plea to the charges, and if there is enough evidence against him, he will be bound over for trial.
MacNeill is set to appear before a judge at 8:30 tomorrow morning at the county courthouse in Juneau.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
