Three people were injured in a rollover crash in Dodge County. The crash happened early Sunday morning on County Trunk Highway R at the intersection with County Trunk Highway SC. A preliminary investigation shows the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and overturned before striking a utility pole. A male passenger from Minneapolis was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver, from Colorado, received minor injuries and a second passenger, also from Colorado received serious injuries.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
