Two children involved in a motor vehicle crash in Dodge County have died from their injuries. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says three year old Brady Wojtkiewicz and seven year old Landon Wojtkiewicz were passengers in an SUV that failed to stop for a stop sign colliding with a van at the intersection of County Highway TT and state Highway 60 Saturday morning. The children later died at a Madison hospital. A 36 year old female passenger and five year old child were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver was not seriously injured. The driver and a passenger in the van were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
