8-17-17 democratic state representative worries legislature is rushing foxconn bill

A Democratic state lawmaker says he worries the legislature is moving too quickly to pass a massive incentive package for Foxconn.  The state assembly is scheduled to vote on the package Thursday.  State representative Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh says he’s not sure the $3 billion incentive package is worth the risk.   Hintz says he also wonders where the people will come from to fill the jobs.  “I think some of the concern is that probably up to a third of the people would come from Illinois,”  Hintz told WFDL news.  “Illinois is very excited because Wisconsin would assume all of the risk and all of the cost.”
